For the last 23 years the volunteer committee of the North Norfolk Exhibition Project has brought an outstanding annual contemporary art exhibition to North Norfolk.
Funding this show has always been a challenge, even more so in recent years with Arts Council cuts and the cutback of financial help from sponsors.
Our present finances are such that without a major cash injection we will be forced to close.
Therefore, we are organising fundraising events to enable the continuation of the project and we are starting with 6X4, which will be an exhibition of donated artist postcards, to be shown at Wighton24, 4 July – 4 August.
We are asking you to support the NNEP by donating a postcard size (6X4) artwork which will be sold for £25 to go towards NNEP funds and the continuation of the annual exhibition.
How to enter
- The donation of 6X4 artworks will be accepted from all artists.
- The artwork can be of any medium and mounted on any material: Oil, watercolour, paper, board, ceramic, textile, metal etc.
- Size must be 4 inches by 6 inches (standard postcard size).
- On the opposite side please indicate the title of the work, sign, please include your name, email and date.
- The identity of the artist will remain a secret until the purchase has been made.
- Deadline: to arrive no later than 1st June
- Unsold 6X4 artworks will be available to buy online after the close of Wighton 24 – cost of packaging and postage to be added to online sales.
- The NNEP would be grateful if you could pass this call on to other artists.
