On Wednesday the North Norfolk Exhibition Project committee were alerted that one of Emma Blount’s stained glass birds had ‘disappeared’. Yesterday, it was reported that a further six from the back of the church had also gone.
These incidents have been reported to the police.
Emma Blount’s small diamond-shaped artworks consist of realistic birds painted by on to coloured glass. These jewel-like stained glass pieces were placed both inside and outside the church.
If you have any information as to the whereabouts of these art works please contact NNEP Co-Ordinator Kirsti Crofts on contemporaryartcley@gmail.com.
There will be a Service of Celebration at St. Margaret’s Church, Cley on Sunday, 18th July at 11.15am to celebrate both St. Margaret’s day and the Cley 21 exhibition.

Orpheus In The Underworld is coming to St. Margaret’s church on Wednesday 21st July, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and are available on the door.
